Facebook, a giant in social networking websites. I don’t need to explain what Facebook is all about or what it does. But there are people who join Facebook for different reasons. Let’s say someone just joined it to be in contact with their family or friends. Someone joined it to make new friends or someone did it to stay updated with some official pages. Whatever could be the reason for you to join Facebook but once you might have asked the question to yourself “How do i cancel pending friend request”? Don’t worry, I will guide you through.
As the title says “How to cancel all pending (or you can say sent) friend request on Facebook? Before i go ahead, let me give you a brief meaning of “Pending” here. Requests which are sent by you to a person but for some or other reasons they don’t accept it, these are called pending friend request.
Why should we cancel sent request on Facebook?
You might be thinking what is the use of deleting sent friend request? Actually, Facebook has some community standards and that is a reason they want us to add only people we know in real life. Because, if your requests remain unanswered frequently or someone reported your request as unwanted, it would be a violation of community standards and because of this they might block you from sending new friend requests for sometime.
How to cancel sent friend request?
So let’s get started:
- First you need to login to your Facebook account.
- Click on friends icon from “Home” section of your profile. Just the way stated below in the image.
3. Click on “View Sent Requests” from the next landing page.
4. Just after clicking it, you will see a list of all the request which are pending. You will see a “Friend Request Sent” option in front of every profile. You need to hover over it to see the “Cancel Request” option. Check out the image below:
